Making friends

Easiest party ever… chips and salsa.  Open bottle, open bag.  Done.   Captain Jack made his award winning chili, I put out some trimmings:  a variety of hot sauces, shredded cheese, scallions, and sour cream.  We followed with cupcakes and green jello with worms.  The sprinkled cupcakes were out of a box.  There were almost none of the homemade chocolate ones left to photograph.

We also put together a few halloween decorations… the pumpkins the boys made with my husband, some flowers covered in “spiders” and a few paper bats.

If you don’t remember to take a single picture until the party is over, it is probably a sign that you were too busy having a good time.  So, for this first of November I am grateful for new friends, and my husband’s excellent chili.
